The lucky winner of the Everyday Party fat quarter bundle is Sarah C. I’ve sent her an email and have heard back from her already.
The fabric arrived in the mail yesterday. What perfect timing. I just need to cut each piece in half to make the two fat quarter bundles. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with mine yet. I’ll put it away and wait for inspiration to strike. That’s what I usually do. Let them mix and mingle with the other fabric.
I did get to sew a little on my day off Monday. I think I ended up spending most of my time that day going out and taking care of some errands.
Oh, now I remember! I went for a trail run, too. Here’s a photo I took at the park. It was so humid I felt like I was melting.
It rained the next few days but Friday it was dry so I rode my bike after work. It was chilly, though. Here’s a rather blurry photo I took of my bike shortly before I finished my ride. That bag on my handlebars is handy and carries emergency supplies for both my bike and That Man’s. Plus has room for other stuff. It’s a mens bike. The regular ladies bike was too small and the larger ladies bike was a little too tall but this mens bike ended up being the best fit for me.
Other than that, I helped look for a lost dog this week. I’ll tell you about that later today. I also made a potholder. That’s all I can think of off the top of my head. It’s 1:00 am and I need to hit the hay. I’ll be back with the story about the lost dog.
