Merry Christmas! That’s what I was thinking when this arrived in the mail last week. It’s a fat eighth bundle of 25th and Pine and the Mittens and Main quilt pattern. I won both from this giveaway hosted by Amy at During Quiet Time (she designed the quilt pattern, by the way) and sponsored by Fat Quarter Shop. I tell you, I was completely floored when I received the email from Amy notifying me. I think this this fabric is just the right thing to make a much needed Christmas tree skirt with.
I was thrilled when these three books finally arrived this week. I say finally because they’re from a giveaway hosted by the AV Club that I was a runner up winner of three months ago. I was so anxious to get my hands on them because I’m such a huge classic movie fan. Major kudos to the lady at the marketing company that coordinated the giveaway because she had to follow up with the publisher a number of times about the shipping of the books.
One more thing I want to mention before getting on with the link up. This is a comment I received this week from Helen.
Mel – Thank you for hosting this giveaway site. Thanks to you I now own a gorgeous new KitchenAid stand mixer from I Breath I’m Hungry – a giveaway posted on your site a couple of weeks ago. I also won 4 mini-charm packs earlier in June. Wow…I never win anything.
How happy it makes me hearing from those who have won giveaways through my link up! (Okay, I must admit I was a bit pea green with envy on her mixer win.) So, if you happen to win please come back here and comment on the current link up post or send me a message through my contact form. I’d love to share in your joy.
We are finally arriving at the matter at hand. Every week we link up giveaways. We add them to the link up as we find them. Last week Jess was a very busy bee sharing giveaways with all of us. Thanks, ma’am!
Whenever you happen upon a giveaway please be sure to come back here and add it to the link up. Adding a giveaway to the link up is super duper easy. Click the “Add your link” button below. Paste the URL for the giveaway website in the Link box. It will automatically fill in the Link Title and will give you a selection of images to choose from. Pick the image that most appropriately represents the giveaway. Done!
It would be great if you could add the following at the end of the link title:
- The date the giveaway ends
- Indicate when it’s US only
When entering giveaways, be sure to read the blog post the blogger has taken the time to write and comment on the content.
Thanks for stopping by. Come back throughout the week to find new giveaways to enter and to add any you come across. Remember the number of the last giveaway you entered so you know where to start off when you come back.
If you think about it, try to help spread the word to others about this link up by mentioning it in a giveaway comment, grabbing my Giveaway Roundup badge to the right or adding a blurb with a link back to my blog. It’s good karma to share.
I hope you have fantastic week!
