How are things? I had three days to myself while That Man and our daughter were away visiting his sister. I took advantage of that time to move my sewing table into the living room and put together this quilt top while having complete control of the tv, which included watching Ken Burns’ The Civil War for the umpteenth time. It was heaven. I also patched and sealed the driveway, mowed, cleaned the deck and rode my bike, ran and hiked. On the hike I got to see a timber rattlesnake. Plus, I didn’t have to run any errands or do any shopping. It’s amazing what I can get done without any interruptions.

Now it’s time to clean the slate and start a new link up for giveaways. Every week we link them up. We add them to the link up as we find them. Our super stars last week for adding giveaways were Jess, Mara and Wendy. You guys are awesome! I must admit I didn’t get the chance to check out and enter many giveaways.

Whenever you happen upon a giveaway please be sure to come back here and add it to the link up. Adding a giveaway to the link up is super duper easy. Click the “Add your link” button below. Paste the URL for the giveaway website in the Link box. It will automatically fill in the Link Title and will give you a selection of images to choose from. Pick the image that most appropriately represents the giveaway. Done!

It would be great if you could add the following at the end of the link title:

  • The date the giveaway ends
  • Indicate when it’s US only

When entering giveaways, be sure to read the blog post the blogger has taken the time to write and comment on the content.

Thanks for stopping by. Come back throughout the week to find new giveaways to enter and to add any you come across. Remember the number of the last giveaway you entered so you know where to start off when you come back.

Don’t forget to comment here if you’ve won anything. I’d love to hear and share in your joy.

If you think about it, try to help spread the word to others about this link up by mentioning it in a giveaway comment, grabbing my Giveaway Roundup badge to the right or adding a blurb with a link back to my blog. It’s good karma to share.

I hope you have fantastic week!

  1. Isn’t it oh-so-wonderful to have concentrated time to devote to sewing? The gradation of the color/fabrics in the quilt top add visual interest. It turned out so beautifully.

  2. Melissa, I shuttered when you said you got to see a timber rattlesnake on your hike. I would have been quaking in my shoes. I get goose pimples just thinking about snakes, of any kind, and actually shuttered. I think the only good snake is a DEAD snake. I am absolutely petrified of them. I would have said I HAD to see one, at best. I admire that you have the admiration of some of the wonderful species on earth. I wish I could appreciate them. Even at the zoo, I cannot walk between the aquariums the snakes are in. I’m shuttering as I write this. Again, thanks for the roundup of giveaways.
