Hello! Hello! Well, I am anxious to get the next round rolling. It will be Round 4 of the 1930s Fabric Swap. But before doing that there’s a couple things that need to be taken care of and I need some help.

Round 3 Loose Ends

First, Round 3 still has loose ends. The third round was a secret partner swap. Everybody who signed up was assigned somebody else to send four fat quarters of 1930s repro prints to. The deadline for mailing packages off was July 18th. There are several participants in the swap I am needing an email response from to either confirm they received their package or to find out when they mailed to the person assigned to them because it hasn’t been received. Please check to see if you have an email from me and reply as soon as you can. I’d like to wrap up this round.

Other than that, I’ve received many positive comments about this round. I am so happy to hear that. I did not participate because I felt it wouldn’t be fair that I would know who was assigned my name instead of it being a surprise. I didn’t want to spoil the fun for anybody.

Next item! I’d like some input from you to help me shape upcoming rounds. The first two rounds I did were for 5″ x 10″ rectangles (bricks). I referred to them as double wide charms. Each participant cut up one yard of fabric into 28 rectangles measuring 5″ x 10″ and mailed them to me. I sorted them all into sets and mailed them out to the participants. The third round I mentioned above was four fat quarters mailed directly between swap particpants.

I want to hear from you about what size fabric cuts you prefer. Also, if you are interested in there being any theme specific rounds — such as for only florals, animals, etc.

If you would, please complete the survey below. I will leave it open until some point later in the week. I’d like to open up the fourth round for signups no later than next week. I also have one or more collection specific rounds planned that will be opening up for signups soon. Keep an eye out!

I look forward to seeing the survey responses!
