It’s a sweltering day here in Missouri. The mid 90s already with humidity at 1,000,000%. I think I’ll stay in the house for the few days until this heatwave breaks.

You probably noticed I didn’t post a new Giveaway Roundup last week. I had the link up for the previous week open for taking new entries for two weeks. You’ve probably also noticed other posts here have been very infrequent lately. There have been some real life matters occupying much of my time and mind. Nothing to worry about. Nothing wrong with anybody medically or anything like that. Just some things that are requiring my attention.

I’m going to cut to the chase. Let’s start a brand spanking new link up for the giveaways. Whenever you happen upon a giveaway throughout the week, please be sure to come back here and add it to the link up. Adding a giveaway to the link up is super duper easy. Click the “Add your link” button below. Paste the URL for the giveaway website in the Link box. It will automatically fill in the Link Title and will give you a selection of images to choose from. Pick the image that most appropriately represents the giveaway. Done!

Please remember the following when entering a giveaway to the link up:

Make sure a giveaway isn’t already in the link up before adding a new one. The widget checks for duplicates but the URL must be exact for it to identify them.

At the end of the title (delete words at the end of what auto fills the box, if necessary) add the following:

  • The date the giveaway ends, if provided (example: ENDS 07/27)
  • Indicate if it’s limited to a particular location (example: US ONLY)

You’ve made it this far and guess what?

I’ve not done a giveaway in awhile and I think it’s high time I did. Recently I purchased a deal on Massdrop for a set of large spools of Aurifil 50wt thread. Included in it was one spool of my favorite go to color for quilt piecing — 2021 (natural white). Since I already have a cone of this color, I’m going to share this large spool with one of you.

For a chance to win, you must use the Rafflecopter widget below. Either enter your name and email address or log in using your Facebook account. To keep things simple, there’s just one simple entry per person. International entries are welcome. I’ll leave this giveaway open until the night of Saturday, August 30th. The next day I will let the widget randomly select the winner and then contact that lucky duck by email.

If for some reason the Rafflecopter widget doesn’t load, please click here to go to it directly. It can be fickle sometimes.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Thanks for stopping by. Come back to find new giveaways to enter and to add any you come across. Remember the number of the last giveaway you entered so you know where to start off when you come back.

Don’t forget to comment here if you’ve won anything. I’d love to hear and share in your joy. Also, let others know about the link up. It’s good karma to share!

  1. I don’t know if I was logged in for Rafflecopter so I just wanted to let you that I think I was entry #12. Thank you!

  2. I think you underestimated the humidity by a factor of 10. Started working in my flower beds, quit after five minutes. Praying for rain.

  3. So glad to hear you’re OK, I was getting a little worried about you.

Please don’t enter me for the giveaway though, I don’t like Aurifil.

  4. I thought maybe you went on a little vacation, here’s to hoping all is okay and is it really that high of a humidity, I saw someone else on another blog write that big of a number and I thought they were exaggerating, but if your writing it too then it must be true! P.S. I LOVE Aurifil!

  5. Thank you for the nice giveaway, and especially for making it so simple to enter. :) I recently won a fantastic giveaway from Scott at Blue Nickle Studio, of an Amy Butler stencil book, notecards and notebooks!

  6. I have a confession to make…I’ve never used Aurifil. But I’d love to, so I hope I win. :)

BTW, my husband is from Stl and we lived there for a few years before moving out to my hometown of Seattle. So we both had a good laugh when I read him your opening line. SO TRUE!! I sure don’t miss that heat…but I do miss the amazing people. :)
